## What it is

FloorPulse is on-premises software that eliminates manual paperwork on the mailing production floor. It consumes mail.dat files directly from presort software, enables barcode-driven on-demand tray tag and pallet placard printing, and provides real-time production visibility to every workstation via a web browser.

## The problem it solves

Mail Service Provider facilities generate tray tags, pallet placards, and production reports for every presort run. These are printed in batch on a laser printer, collated by hand, and walked to the production floor. About 25% of jobs require reprocessing, which means recalling all old paperwork and replacing it. At a mid-volume shop running 15 jobs per week, this adds up to approximately 29 eight-hour days per year spent on paperwork alone.

## How it works

1. Drop a mail.dat ZIP into a watched folder. The job is live in seconds.
2. Operators scan a piece or tray barcode. FloorPulse matches it against the mail.dat and prints the tray tag on demand.
3. When all trays in a pallet are scanned, the pallet placard generates automatically.
4. If a job is reprocessed, drop the new mail.dat. FloorPulse detects the duplicate, verifies no production activity, and replaces the old data. No old paperwork to recall.
